Brief history about the reciters
Abdul Rahman Ibn Abdul Aziz as-Sudais (عبد الرحمن السديس ʻAbd ar-Rahman ibn ʻAbd al-Aziz as-Sudais; born 10 February 1960 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) is the imam of the Grand mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia; the President of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques; a renowned qāriʾ (reciter of the Qur'an)] and was the Dubai International Holy Qur'an Award's "Islamic Personality Of the Year" in 2005.
Al-Sudais has preached Islam's opposition to "explosions and terrorism", and has called for peaceful inter-faith dialogue, but also been sharply criticized for vilifying non-Muslims and especially Jews in his sermons. He has denounced the treatment of Palestinians by Israeli settlers and the state of Israel, and called for more aid to be sent to Palestinians.He has also been noted for identifying women's un-Islamic behavior as in part responsible for the winter 2006 drought in Saudi Arabia. Saud ibn Ibrahim ibn Muhammad al-Shuraim (Arabic: سعود بن ابراهيم بن محمد الشريم،, born 19 January 1966[1]) is one of the Imams and khateeb of the Grand Masjid (Masjid al-Haram) in Makkah. He holds a doctorate (Ph.D) and is a Professor of Sharia and Islamic studies at the Umm al-Qura University in Makkah, and was recently appointed as a Dean and "Specialist Professor in Fiqh" at the University.
He is also known as a researcher in Fiqh and he follows the Hanbali madhhab. He is a judge and a writer who has composed many books on Aqidah, fiqh, and Arabic poetry.
MISHARY
Sheikh Mishary bin Rashid bin Gharib bin Muhammad Alafasy (Arabic: الشيخ مشاري بن راشد بن غارب بن محمد العفاسي; born in Kuwait on September 5, 1976) is a Kuwaiti preacher, imam quran reciter and nasheed artist. He is also known as Abu Rashid (Arabic: أبو راشد) (The father of Rashid).
Mishary Alafasy is recognized for his unique voice and style of recitation of the Qur'an. Many reciters have come to imitate his mode of recitation.
He studied the Qur'an in the College of the Holy Qur'an at the Islamic University of Madinah (Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia). He memorized the whole Qur'an in two years from 1992 to 1994 and then studied specializing in the ten-fold reading of the Holy Qur'an. He has impressed a number of great reciters of the Qur'an with his recitation.
Mishary Al Afasy is the Imam of the Grand Mosque of Kuwait and every Ramadan he leads the Taraweeh prayers in this Mosque. He very often leads the Taraweeh prayers in the UAE and other neighboring countries in the Persian Gulf.

‘Abdul-Basit ‘Abdel-Samad (1927 – 30 November 1988) (Egyptian Arabic; عبد الباسط عبد الصمد), was a renowned Egyptian Qari (reciter of the Qur'an). As such, many modern reciters try to imitate his style. The Qari had won three world Qira'at competitions in the early 1970s. ‘Abdus-Samad was one of the first huffaz to make commercial recordings of his recitations, and the first president of the Reciters' Union in Egypt.
